Hello strangers. It has been quite awhile since I last posted! Well, only three weeks until I'm off to Europe. It seems somewhat unbelievable, as my mom has been planning this for three years, and soon it will finally happen! And holy shit I'm hyped. So hyped that I went on a shopping binge and got myself some awesome new clothes and some awesomely comfortable sandals. I feel like a million bucks wearing them. In fact, I'll even post some pictures in a few days when my pale complexion goes away! Why Monday? That's when our pool will (finally) be open. :P Because of the upcoming trip, looking for a job is pointless. I highly doubt I could take three weeks off if I was hired recently. So for the past two months, I've been completely stress-free, and holy shit has it ever been awesome. To pass the time I'd normally spend scouring for a job, I've been replaying old games(mainly Baldur's Gate 2), and watching my new favourite thing to watch: Pro Korean Starcraft. I can't tell you how awesome this stuff is. The guys who played it are so good, and the fans and announcers really get into it. Here's a clip from a recent game that has the "Starcraft Universe" buzzing with excitement. An old player and fan favourite who used to be good many years ago(not so much now) takes on the best Protoss player in the world. He comes up with a awesome strategy, and shows us some of the best Zerg play we've seen in awhile. ( More Starcraft ) ( Here, have a little bit of WoW )

I haven't made a real post since November, because nothing interesting has happened in my life lately... UNTIL NOW. I'm planning on getting a temporary job at a local Wal-mart which recently opened. For some odd reason, I'm really hoping I can get a position with the garden centre. Why? Mainly because I miss working outside. Also that it coincides with exactly how long I want my temporary employment to be, which is until the middle of July. Why the middle of July? Because I'm going to motherfuckin' Europe for two weeks. I'll be chillin' in the south of France for 4 days, then we drive to Rome for a few more days, followed by a Mediterranean Cruise for a week. Yeah. I'm psyched. But the absolute best part of the trip is I'll get to see my awesome grandmother who I haven't seen in over 13 years. And this time, I want to be able to speak French with her... something I've never been able to do. So, my short term goals are to get a job, and re-learn enough French so I can talk with mémé(which is French for grandmother). As for my long term goal... well, the "education" I received from IADT won't get me anywhere. So I'm gonna find out about going back to school for Video Game Design, but this time, it'll be an actual government-funded college. One with real teachers, a stable schedule, and a real chance to get a job after graduating. I took a pretty screenshot today in WoW which I felt like sharing with all of you. For those of you who don't play WoW, this is the birth of Entropius. He's the second half of M'uru, the hardest boss fight in any video game EVER. Sure, you can tell me of other really difficult boss fights, but those only require one person to be perfect. M'uru requires 25 people to be perfect, and after four weeks of attempts, I'm really excited that we got the first part of the fight down. :)

We also own a waverunner. We're gonna be bringing the waverunner up to Canada and to their new place at Wasaga Beach. I'm driving down, they're driving back. There is a ninja mouse scurrying around in my room. I trapped it, but it managed to get away, hence why it is a ninja mouse. I think he's trying to kill me. I named him Alfred. UPDATE: I was able to catch the little fellow while he was eating some crumbs! I threw a towel over him, then I opened the towel in my shower, to ensure he wouldn't be able to get away. He fell onto the floor pretty hard and was nearly lifeless. I let him rest for a minute, then I gently poked him a couple of times, and he slowly got up. I took him across the street and released him at the church, where I hope he will find a new home. This happened as I was setting up the mouse trap too. I'm just glad I didn't have to kill him. :>

I'm sorry Winter, but you will not hinder me from getting Brawl in the morning. Even though the snowblower broke, I will shovel the driveway once every three hours, despite being a weakass and not having touched a snow shovel in over ten years. I have waited too long for this day to come and nothing will get in my way. That being said, I'm pretty much all set to lock myself in my room for a few days. I have a bag and a half of curry chips, as well as a wide assortment of other snacks and beverages. Hopefully getting all of your friend codes won't be too difficult. :P In other news, I got sick after Katsucon. The cold turned into bronchitis. But I'm better now. I also got Rock Band. If you have it too, we should play sometime. Ugh... just 10.5 hours until Wal-Mart opens tomorrow. EDIT: 9.5 hours... its daylight savings!

They dropped the price of premium 360s down to the American price of $350. On top of that, I got TWO games with it. Forza 2 and NHL 2K8. I also got Halo 3 for the American cover price of $59.99. :3

I just did something I couldn't see myself doing for awhile... I cancelled my WoW account. Between my guilds falling apart and several other friends quitting, there's just no reason to play anymore.
